Pullman Resident Arrested for Murder 2nd Degree

 PULLMAN – At 5:43pm on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, Pullman Police officers responded to a welfare check on a Pullman woman. Upon arrival, officers determined that the woman had sustained serious injuries as the result of an assault. Pullman Fire Department medics provided lifesaving measures, but the woman succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Pullman patrol officers and detectives began an immediate investigation.

Around 9:12pm, officers arrested the victim’s estranged husband, 36-year-old Pullman resident Jacob E. Spray for Murder in the 2nd Degree. Spray was booked into the Whitman County Jail, and Pullman Police detectives continue to actively investigate this tragic incident. Further information will be released as the investigation continues. The identity of the victim will be released by the Whitman County Coroner’s Office at a later time.
