City Administrator

Mike Urban was appointed City Administrator by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council in January 2021.  He was previously the Director of Finance & Administrative Services for the City of Pullman.  His work background includes Assistant/Chief Deputy Treasurer of Skagit County, tax associate and staff accountant in a CPA firm, and operating the family equipment & party rental business for 20+ years.  Mike is a graduate of Washington State University both as an undergrad where he majored in accounting as well as earning an MBA - Finance. 

Mike has been married to his high school sweetheart Jenna since 1994.  Together they have two children: Elizabeth, who is working on her masters degree at Washington State University and Matthew, who was in the Autism Program at Pullman High School.
