School Resource Officer

The School Resource Officer (SRO) is a regular patrol officer on special-duty assignment.  Assignment to the SRO position is typically a three-year rotation, and requires substantial additional training and certification. The current SRO for the Pullman Police Department is Officer Scott Patrick.

The SRO also provides crime prevention and educational programs in the community, including informational booths at fairs and festivals, school career day programs, bicycle rodeo programs and child safety identification programs.
