Getting Started (screenshots included)

Step 1. Visit the Lynda.com login page. Enter your 14 digit Neill Public Library card number and PIN. Select "Log In".

Step 2.  If you have not used Lynda.com before, select "No, I've never had an account" to create a new account. If you created a Lynda.com account in the past, select "I've had an account" to import activity from your existing account.

Step 3a.  If you are creating a new account, Lynda.com will ask you for your name and email. Input your information and select "Save."

Step 3b.  If you selected "I've had an account," Lynda.com will ask for your previous user name and password. Input your credentials and select "Transfer my history."

Step 4. Congratulations, you've completed the setup!  You will be taken to your home page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log in?

Patrons log in through the library portal, using their Neill Public Library card number and PIN.

If you don't know your library card number and/or PIN, please contact us or call us at 509-334-3595.

 

Can I log in directly from Lynda.com?

No. Patrons must access their accounts through Neill Public Library's designated login page.  We recommend patrons bookmark this page for easy access.

 

Can I learn on my mobile device?

Yes. Patrons can access Lynda.com on their mobile device using a web browser.  However, access to the Lynda mobile app is not available under the current agreement between LinkedIn and the Washington State Library.

 

How do I reset or change my Lynda password?  What if I have other questions or need some extra help?
