Join us to hear Dr. Mohammed Boudoudou, a Fulbright Scholar from Morocco currently in residence at the Community Colleges of Spokane, speak on “The ‘Arab World:’ Historical and Cultural Perspectives” at Neill Public Library on Friday, May 24 from 4:30 - 5:30pmBoudoudou is a visiting scholar at the Global Education Office of CCS and has made several appearances around the region. His research has focused on world population mobility and its effects on the social structure of society.

Boudoudou received his Ph.D. from L’École des hautes études en sciences sociales, a top-rated institution of social science in Paris.  He has taught for more than 30 years, including five years at the Tohoku University Graduate School of International Cultural Studies in Japan.  He has extensive academic and research management experience in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Morocco and has been a consultant on migrant issues to various human rights’ organizations and European governments including Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Canada.

 

The Spokane Falls Community College’s Pullman campus and Neill Public Library are partners in this event.
